Johns Hopkins HealthCare (JHHC) wants to remind you that May 23, 2008 is just around the corner.  After that date, you will need to submit the servicing NPI number on all claims.  Please be aware of the following stipulations: ü     Legacy identifiers will no longer be accepted on transactions after May 23, 2008 ü     JHHC will reject any covered transaction without an NPI/Taxonomy code beginning May 23, 2008

In order to expedite the submittal process, we have established a dedicated e-mail address for our providers at NPI@jhhc.com.  Please include the following:

ü     Provider name and group name

ü     NPI number(s), both individual and group, if applicable

ü     JHHC current provider identification number

ü     Tax identification number
