A Struggling Mom Finds the Power of Community
Having support from your community can make a big difference during pregnancy and life as a parent of a newborn.
Feeling very worried, a Priority Partners member reached out to her Care Manager. She didn’t have the items she needed for her baby, such as diapers, wipes and clothes.
Her Care Manager listened calmly and quickly got to work. She called local groups and pregnancy centers to find help. Very soon after, the mother received a package from Lily’s Hope Foundation. It was filled with diapers, wipes and baby clothes, plus gifts for the baby’s siblings.
Her Care Manager also signed her up for parenting classes. With additional help from The Pregnancy Center, this caregiver was ready to provide all the care her baby needed.
