No Changes to Priority Partners Plan or Benefits

Members can stay with Priority Partners plan or select a new plan.

On February 18, 2025, the National Committee for Quality Assurance suspended our health plan accreditation. Accreditation measures many parts of a health plan’s quality. We are working to improve some issues in our operations. We reported these issues to the Maryland Department of Health (MDH).

Members will soon receive a notice from MDH giving a limited time to choose to stay with Priority Partners or select a new health plan.

What does this mean for you?

  • If you stay with Priority Partners, nothing will change.
  • You will remain a member of Priority Partners.
  • You will keep the same coverage and benefits.
  • You can continue to see your same doctors.
  • You can continue to get the health care you need.
  • You can continue to fill your prescriptions.
  • If you are expecting a baby, your baby will be enrolled into Priority Partners.

We strive for quality in everything we do. Know that we are already fixing the issues we found.
